The Moody Heron 

A unique, interchangeable Heron necklace.   Perfect for whatever mood you are in!

Each Heron is hand painted by me and sealed.  The top focal is a gorgeous Czech button and has 24K gold seed bead accents. 

Each kit will come with 2 heron colors of your choice and 2 chain colors of your choice!

Students will learn how to create an interchangeable focal using a cork base with Sensuede backing (inspired by the Holly/Doris Chin interchangeable cab process) Students will also learn my tassel process.

Kits must be purchased at least 4 weeks in advance of the class.  All kits will be mailed 3 weeks in advance; Zoom info will be e-mailed one week prior.  Registration is now CLOSED on thE Bead Network website.  A 2-HOUR zoom FINISHING session will take place on July 12th froim 1 pm - 3 pm EDT.  Both the workshop and the FINISHING session will be recorded.

Doris and Holly got together to create a fun interchangeable cab design!  Doris' engineering and Holly's creativity bring you Hangin' Outback, a light pendant necklace combining bead embroidery and bead weaving.  The kit will have 2 cabs; a Koala and then a cab of your choice: Pink flowers, Fuchscia flowers, Kookaburra, Tree Kangaroo or Boobook Owl.

Safari Bag Workshop!

November 1, 2025 11 AM EDT

Bead Embroidery knowledge recommended.  Enjoy making this unique Safari bag using the most luxurious, high quality faux leather and Sensuede Fabrics.   You'll get two colors of 7" x 8" faux leather to choose which one you want your scene on.  You'll get a template to cut the bag/pocket out or you can choose to keep it rectangular.  The bag is fully lined with 1 inside pocket (pocket colors are chosen at random).  The bag also has an outside pocket - please see all photos below.

It has a wood handle and cross body strap - you can choose to use both or just one.  You'll choose your Firespell cabochon:  Lion, Cheetahs, Elephants, Kangaroo or Kuala.  You can choose below to register now and come back to purchase your kit.  The Zoom is 4 hours long and includes a free 2-3 hour finishing session date TBD.  Kits will be mailed 3-4 weeks in advance; Zoom info one week prior.
