Capri Workshop

A captivating abstract design with plenty of bling and a little rustic touch with the etched daggers.  Swarovski Sew-On Crystal, Brass Starfish, AAA Pearls, Moonstone Chips, Opal Shine Cup Chain, Swarovski Bicones, 18 K Gold Plated Firepolish, Glass Crystals, and Czech Components.  

The necklace chain is a stitch I call “diamond stitch”; It’s a combination of Pondo and RAW.  Come have some fun designing your own Abstract Capri!

Bead Society of Eastern Pennsylvania Retreat

For this retreat, I am trying something a little different!

Each attendee will choose a kit from a list or from my trunk show - everyone is happy and I am there to assist in the bead embroidery process and share some tips and shopping secrets!

Zoom Workshop March 9th, 2025

11 AM to 3 PM

Free 2 hour finishing session date TBD

Join me in creating this unique bead embroidered necklace with a southwestern flair.  There are alternate cab choices; Wolf or Flower

The foundation is Sensuede (a hair thicker than standard ultra suede) and very easy to bead on.  The kit comes with a stiff wire for the necklace or you can choose to use needle and thread.  The natural turquoise slab is irregular in shape and varies in size and color - I will do my very best in choosing  your stone.  We'll use Jamie Cloud Eakin's twisted edging stitch (she is so kind to share).  We'll also make a beaded feather.  Kit includes everything to make the necklace except for needle, thread, tools, glue.  I will have my usual door prizes!  At the end of our first session, I will share some shopping secrets and we'll choose a date for the finishing session.  Kits will be mailed 3-4 weeks prior to the workshop and Zoom info will be e-mailed one week prior.  You can choose in the drop down to register then come back later to purchase your kit or purchase both.

Join me in this super fun project. A combination of bead weaving and bead embroidery brings Lana to life; and oh those muscles!  Not to mention her luscious lips, nails and “diamond” ring!  Featuring gold branch, gold leaves, pearls, farfalle beads, Stitches used are Back stitch, Brick stitch, Pondo stitch, and fringed RAW.  You can register now and purchase your kit by October 15th.
